Matt Rhoades founded UK Policy Group in 2017 having co-founded Definers Public Affairs in 2015 and America Rising Corp. in 2013. Prior to 2013, Rhoades served as the Campaign Manager for Governor Mitt Romney’s 2012 U.S. presidential campaign. From 2011 to 2012, he was responsible for building the infrastructure of a national campaign and directing its messaging, strategy and budget.
Mr. Rhoades has a long history in national politics. He previously served as Deputy Campaign Manager and Communications Director on Governor Mitt Romney’s 2008 presidential campaign. During the 2006 election cycle, he was the Republican National Committee’s (RNC) Research Director/Deputy Communications Director where he was a key adviser to then RNC Chairman Ken Mehlman. In 2004, he played a critical role in President George W. Bush’s winning re-election campaign, serving as the Research Director for Bush-Cheney ’04, where he helped develop the campaign’s opposition research, message development and rapid response operations.
